If you are using version 9 of Internet Explorer you may find that Engaging English Web Articles do not display properly. Instead of seeing the article you will only see the Engaging English toolbar on an otherwise blank page.
This issue is caused by the way Internet Explorer handles content delivered from the Engaging English system. Our engineers are working hard to fix this problem.
In the meantime there are steps you can take to tell Internet Explorer to display Web Articles properly:
1) On the Tool menu, click Internet Options.
2) Click the Security tab, and then click Custom level.
3) In the Settings box, scroll down to the Miscellaneous section, and under Display mixed content choose "Prompt, will prompt you when a webpage is using non-secure content".
For more information please visit Microsoft.com at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2625928.
Note that this change only affects web content loaded through Engaging English so you are not at risk of loading unsafe content from other sites.
Note also that this issue does not affect Enhanced Articles.
Thanks in advance for your patience as we work to find a resolution to this issue. If you have any further questions or problems please let us know.
